Hi Wim,

Awesome, thanks for the heads-up -- been fighting a couple of colds lately and a bit of pressure at the office so haven't had the time to give it a good whirl as yet. Will drop by your blog later to check out the next three parts to your series!!

Thanks for leaving a comment!

Hey Sean,

Just wanted to let you know that parts three through five of the guide are up now.

How's it been going training the leg kick? Is it working for you?

Thanks for the comments Jesse, funnily enough it wasn't until I was writing the post that I thought of how my leg could give me a natural advantage with this technique - I just came in from a workout and forgot to give it a crack on the boxing bag :P

Will keep in mind your advice RE my foot on the bag when I start working on it.

I'm a big fan of shin kicks just because of how much larger and shaper the shin is than the foot. Also, as you probably have read, I think foot kicking barefoot is silly. With shoes on it's a whole different game though.

This is a really interesting topic because it presents a 'natural' *advantage* you have as a result of your prosthesis. I think if I were you I'd be kicking with it all the time.
I don't really know how it works parts-wise, but my first worry would be - take care to not let the foot piece whip out of place during one.
